Back out on to the main track, it's just about time to drop your tyre pressures, as either the track behind the dunes, or the beach run itself can get pretty soft. Fishing and swimming are also great activities in the area. Just follow the signs and it's not too long before the bitumen gives way to a dirt track and then you get to see one of my favourite signs. Always use the established beach access ramps when driving onto the beach as these are boarded which helps minimise the considerable damage being done to the dunes by those who insist on making new tracks.
